Northern Athletics The MSU-Northern women's basketball team announced the signing of junior college transfer Karina Cabrera. The future is looking bright for the Montana University-Northern women's basketball team, thanks to a bevy of new recruits. Northern head coach Chris Mouat recently announced the signing of Karina Cabrera to join the Skylight program this fall. Cabrera, a 5-foot-6 guard, recently finished a two-year career at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. This past season, the Pirates finished with a record of 33-1 and captured the California Community College Athletic Association title.
