Tuesday, March 21, marks the 50th anniversary of National Ag Day, launched to raise public awareness about agriculture's vital role in society. A ceremony is scheduled at the USDA Whitten Patio in Washington, D.C., featuring speakers from USDA and American Farm Bureau Federation. A Taste of Ag reception will be held that evening in the Montpelier Room in the Library of Congress. The day before, March 20, the Agri-Pulse Ag & Food Policy Summit will convene at the National Press Club in Washington, D.
