Mission Viejo will play host to the 2024 USA Triathlon Collegiate Club national championship in April next year. This will be the first time the national triathlon event will be held in Mission Viejo. Previously, it's been held in Buford, Georgia. The set-up for this event is slated to occur on April 11 and 12, and the triathlon will take place over the course of two days, April 13 and 14 (Saturday and Sunday). There will be two races, the first consisting of the top 75 men and women, and with a mixed relay to follow.
