Three men and two women were arrested in connection with a series of burglaries of Orange County UPS stores in recent weeks, authorities said Friday. On Aug. 3, deputies and task force teams located five people suspected of burglarizing stores in Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Woods, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The dates of the crimes and description of the items taken were not disclosed. In the course of the investigation, thousands of items were discovered containing identifying information belonging to other people, as well as a pair of firearms and more than 250 grams of fentanyl, according to sheriff's officials.
