Island Pacific opened 1st OC spot on Oct. 7 Filipino supermarket chain Island Pacific opened its first Orange County location in Lake Forest this month, adding to the county's growing collection of specialty grocers. Headquartered in City of Industry, the chain celebrated the grand opening on Oct. 7 at the Lake Forest Marketplace, about a block from the San Diego (5) Freeway along El Toro Road. The company describes its goal as promoting Filipino food to the world through the market's offerings and in-house options.
